Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a coach to join?
Not at all. This is deep personal development for anyone who wants to listen better, think more clearly and relate more fully. Past participants include coaches, doctors, educators, therapists, parents and thoughtful people from all walks of life.

Is this only for people doing the Coach course?
No. It is the first step on the Time to Think Coach path, but it stands very well on its own. Many people join with no wish to certify. They simply want this way of being in their life and work.

Can I move on to the Coach course later?
Yes. Many people finish this course and want to go deeper. If you've attended all the sessions, you can apply for the Coach certification path within 6 months.

What is the Listening Benchmark?
It's a self-assessment I created to help you track your growth as a listener and the impact you have on other people’s thinking. You complete it before the course begins and again at 3, 6 and 12 months. It's a lovely way to reflect on your development and see what has lasted.

What if I'm not sure I'll be "good" at this?
There's nothing to perform and nothing to prove. You don't need to be a coach or any particular kind of person. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to practise a new way of being. I'll be with you every step of the way.
