Thoughtful Retreats for people who support others
If your working life is spent thinking with and for other people, as a coach, facilitator, educator, leader or care professional, these days are for you.
You give a lot. This is a day to receive.
We'll spend the day in a Thinking Environment®, with unhurried conversation, good food and time outside walking the land. There's nothing to perform and nothing to get right. You can simply arrive as you are.
These retreats might be for you if you...
Want time to think clearly, not just quickly
Feel a little disconnected from your clarity, your rhythm or your joy
Would love to spend a day in good conversation with thoughtful people
Are feeling stretched, overstimulated or quietly tired
Know that one good day of thinking can change a lot
What the day holds
We'll have time for your own thinking, on the questions that matter most to you right now, and time to think together as a group. We'll walk, rest and reflect in the beautiful Peak District. Lunch is catered, seasonal and lovely. And you'll leave with a clearer sense of what's next for you.
Each retreat follows the rhythm of its season, so you can pause, reset and return with more clarity.

Questions you might have
Do I need to have done a Thinking Environment course?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome. If you're new to this way of working, I'll send you a short welcome video beforehand, and the group will help you settle in.
Will it feel like a training day?
No. These are slow, restorative days. There's some gentle structure and a few prompts, but mostly it's about having the space to think without interruption.
Can I come to just one?
Of course. Come to one, two or all three.
What's included?
Your day includes the sessions, any materials, lunch and refreshments.
Can I stay the night?
Yes. There's self-catering accommodation on site at £95 per night, and I'm happy to help you arrange it. Staying over can make the whole day feel more spacious. There are also lots of options in the nearby villages.
Come as you are, and bring what matters
I hope you'll leave feeling steadier and more like yourself than when you arrived.
